About Dr. Tambar

Dr. Stuti Tambar obtained her undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Buffalo in addition to completing her residency in the General Surgery Training program.  Dr. Tambar continued her training with a specialization in treating malignant and benign breast disease from Georgetown University in Washington DC.

Following her specialized training, Dr. Tambar served as a Breast Surgical Oncologist in California, before returning home to Western New York to give back to the community that helped her become who she is today. Dr. Tambar’s clinical interest focuses on screening and identifying high-risk patients that will benefit from surveillance.

When she is not working, she most enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, cooking and running.
